A world that encompasses a way of life, in which he transfers his positive feelings to each of his creations.
After five years working on her project, María has grown from an idea born accidentally and without experience to El Atelier Pottery , which has matured and professionalized over time to become what it is today: María Vega de Seone - El Atelier Pottery. Without losing her personal touch, it has evolved into a more specialized and established concept.
Thanks to her enthusiasm and creative mind, she taught herself the trade. In a constant search for balance, ceramics gave her the place she longed for. María is inspired by music, nature, art, travel, and beauty in all its forms, and of course, her deep connection with all things Asturian: traditions, landscapes, gastronomy, the sea... She combines her entrepreneurial career with the constant activity generated by a large family made up of her husband, her four children, and her eight dogs, also an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

María Vega de Seone - Unique Ceramics is a made-in-Spain brand of handcrafted ceramic and porcelain pieces, that is, individually handcrafted in their own workshop. This gives them the opportunity to personalize, modify, and evolve their creations.
In the MVS universe, you can find unique, perfect, and imperfect pieces, all different and sophisticated, full of personality, inspiring, and always true to her distinctive style. Pieces with which she wants to share her happiness with anyone who chooses them.
Her business focuses on jewelry, home decor, and the ceramics classes she teaches in her Madrid studio, full of personality, experimentation, and unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. A goal achieved with effort, care, dedication, and a fondness for beauty.
With her new project already underway, she has the idea of creating an art line that includes various sculptural objects . María enjoys the process of creation and design and shares her knowledge by teaching in her studio.


Among her creations are jewelry: earrings, rings, pendants, and bracelets made of very light porcelain, with the quality finish that characterizes each of her pieces. For this, she uses brass plated with 0.7 microns of 24-karat gold, Japanese silk cords, and mini-link chains.
In terms of decor, we'll find candles, tableware, placemats, bread plates, mugs, serving platters, napkin rings, pitchers, vases, sculptures, and numerous personalized items, such as their well-known dog bowls.
María also collaborates with interior designers , designing custom-made objects for each project, such as light fixtures, sculptures, and large ceramic objects for both indoor and outdoor use.
He has also carried out specific commissions, such as the design and production of the GQ Awards for 3 years , and the Vogue Beauty Awards in their latest editions and the awards for the Cerave brand.
We can also find their pieces in an exclusive collection created for the Marbella Club boutique , among others.
The Founder: María Vega de Seoane
She studied Corporate Communications at AUP in Paris and took a photography course at Parsons, worked for Ralph Lauren, started a restaurant business with her husband, and participated in the program “ Easy Celebrations” on Canal de Casa.
With a restless mind, she studied pastry making at Cordón Bleu in Madrid and set up her own catering business. Given her interest in nutrition, she realized she wanted to learn about healthy eating and intolerances. She acquired knowledge through an online master's degree in New York, which led her to eventually set up a food and allergen consulting company, advising clients such as El Corte Inglés and the VIP¨S group.
But life had other plans for her. After constantly experimenting in different fields, she casually decided, encouraged by a friend, to sign up for a ceramics class. It was then that she fell in love at first sight with the art form. Over the years, she has learned and matured to professionalize her company: María Vega de Seone - Unique Ceramics, where she found her true path and where she feels fulfilled and happy. Thus, Forbes magazine recognized her and included her on its list as one of the 100 most creative women in our country.
